So much fun!

October 28, 2009

I had a shy one when they got here, this little man wanted nothing to do with me. He thought it was pretty funny to try to run away from me. So I let him go play and me and his sister went off by ourselves, then he started warming up to me. It made my day when I told them we were all done and he didn’t want to leave, he wanted to stay and play some more!

I’m trying to keep up! I have photographed a lot of things recently for the school here in Kinder and Lacassine, so my blog posts may not be as often until I can get caught up on all of the school stuff.

Deadline for all orders to be in for Christmas is December 1st.

Here’s two beautiful kids from week before last.

Wonderful

October 23, 2009

I truly wish every newborn session could go as smooth as this one. This little guy was just wonderful to work with and slept through it all. The little round basket he is in was handmade by someone in his family.

Brothers

October 22, 2009

These two just make me smile. I got to listen to all kinds of songs, itsy bitsy spider, twinkle twinkle little star, and a few others. I wish it was a little cooler for them, but they did great considering the warm weather.

I’m officially booked up through Christmas. If anyone would like to be put on a list in case someone cancels just email me or give me a call.

And here’s the two little sweethearts……

Ma ma and Pa pa

October 9, 2009

This is another wonderful family I’ve had the opportunity to get to know over the past year and a half. And this baby girl loves her Ma ma and Pa pa so much. Poor baby we traumatized her when she got here, how dare we make her take off her brand new Elmo t-shirt to go take some pictures. She was so upset over it, and the only thing that made her stop crying was when her Ma ma told her they would go dance to “Sha Tu Tu”. So we went outside and they had to put on the French music and dance for a bit. And I’m happy to say as soon as the session was over she was able to get Elmo back!

Love…

October 2, 2009

I just love this beautiful little family! I’ve been blessed to watch their little man grow up over the years and I can’t wait to meet the new little one on the way. We have had some crazy “elements” to deal with for a couple of their sessions, last year it was an insane cold front that moved through and the high must have been in the low 40’s for the day. Poor little man couldn’t move around he was so cold. And then this year the mosquitos were just horrible, I can’t tell you how many I had to clone out of the photographs that you could actually see buzzing around. The best part though was daddy doing the mosquito dance to keep them from carrying him away….why didn’t I get a picture of that??? He was the only one of us in shorts and the mosquitos liked it!

He has the best serious faces ever…
